TOGBE AFEDE PAID A SOCIAL CALL ON SHIFT-CHARGES OF SUNON ASOGLI IN LOCKDOWN

Togbe Afede paid a courtesy call on shift-charges of Sunon Asogli Power Plant and leaders of subcontractors groups who have been in lockdown at the company’s local residence on July 23, 2020.
Togbe Afede on his visit stated that he was very impressed at the current state of the power plant in the midst of the corona virus pandemic, the various measures Chairman Yan and his management have put in place to ensure the safety of all staff and how management have had to make provisions to house some of its sub-contractor staff to ensure that the power plant is still operating.
He further stated that though many companies are making much losses in this current state worldwide due to the pandemic, that did not seem to be the story of Sunon Asogli Power Plant. Considering the fact that most of the working force where asked to stay home and some having to work from home, staff living in the company’s local residence and those who have had to be brought in during the period have done an incredible job to keep the power plant running. He expressed his gratitude to all staff currently in the company’s local residence and urged them to keep up the good work of ensuring that in this pandemic the whole of Ghana is having consistent power supply.
He also praised Chairman Yan and the entire Management for ensuring the smooth running of the power plant and safety of its staff.
