Sunon Asogli Power Recognized at the 2024 GIPC Ghana Club 100 Awards, takes 1st position in Energy and Utilities and 10th position overall

The Ghana Club 100 Awards, organised by the Ghana Investment Promotion Corporation (GIPC) and held on Friday, 25th October 2024, celebrated excellence across various industries. Sunon Asogli Power made a significant mark by being the first-ranked company in the Energy and Utilities sector and securing the 10th position overall out of 100 companies, a notable rise from the 19th position last year.

This recognition is a testament to Sunon Asogli Power’s commitment to being the most reliable and affordable Independent Power Producer in Ghana. It reflects our dedication to excellence, innovation, and the continuous efforts of our team to meet the energy needs of our customers while supporting Ghana’s economic growth.

Since its inception in 1998, the Ghana Club 100 awards have recognised corporate excellence and encouraged effective governance within Ghana’s private sector, motivating companies to achieve higher standards and set new benchmarks. This year’s event, themed “Fostering Domestic Champions: Building Local Capacity,” highlighted the contributions of Ghana’s leading firms to local development.

Mr. Kwame Wang, General Manager of Sunon Asogli Power accepted the award on behalf of the company. He reiterated Sunon Asogli Power’s commitment to furthering its mission of supporting African governments in achieving energy security through reliable and eco-friendly power.
