The China-Ghana Enterprise Chamber of Commerce in Ghana receives acknowledgment from the United Nations Department of Safety and Security

The China-Ghana Enterprise Chamber of Commerce received a trophy and a letter of gratitude from the United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS), expressing its gratitude for its outstanding performance in the “Love in Action” charity fund project, especially for its important role in assisting 61 HIV positive children in the Motherly Love Orphanage (Accra AIDS Orphanage).

Mr. Chairman Yang, president of the China-Ghana Chamber of Commerce, received the trophy on behalf of the group. He mentioned that Sunon Asogli Power will continue to leverage its collaborative effort in strengthening the communication and exchange among Chinese enterprises in Ghana. He further added that he would actively lead them to fulfill their corporate social responsibilities, thereby enhancing the well-being of Ghanaians while contributing to the long-term development of China Africa friendship.

He added that in 2024, the chamber hosted a mutual prosperity partnership roundtable discussion in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, followed by a mid-year dialogue with the Ghana Revenue Authority. These events provided valuable platforms for in-depth discussions on policies, investment opportunities, and tax compliance, further strengthening ties and facilitating policy alignment between Chinese enterprises and Ghanaian authorities. As president of the China-Ghana Enterprise chamber of Commerce, he assured that he will continue to lead the group to collaborate more with Ghanaian authorities and also contribute to the communities.

The China-Ghana chamber of commerce serves as a crucial link between businesses and the Government of Ghana, further advancing China-Ghana economic and trade cooperation.
