Sunon Asogli Power Marks World Hypertension Day with Employee Health Screening

On Saturday, 25th May 2025, a delegation from the Silk Road Fund paid a courtesy visit to Sunon Asogli Power Ghana Limited as part of a working visit to Ghana. The delegation was led by Ms. Zhu Jun, chairperson of the fund, and included senior executives exploring potential investment opportunities across Africa’s energy sector. The team was warmly received by the chairman of Sunon Asogli Power, Mr. Kwame Wang, and his management team.

During their meeting, Chairman Wang highlighted the growth of Sunon Asogli Power since its inception, its operational milestones, and its impact on Ghana’s energy sector, particularly in stabilizing power supply and supporting industrial development. The discussion also covered the company’s broader vision of expanding to include a phase III to its current generation, exploring renewable energy solutions, and exporting power to Ghana’s neighboring countries.

Ms. Zhu, chairperson of the Silk Road Fund, commended Sunon Asogli Power for its achievements and its contribution to sustainable development in Ghana.
