Our Social Responsibility to Help Fight the COVID-19 Pandemic

As a socially responsible organisation aware of the gravity of the coronavirus disease, the company once again showed its commitment to the Ghanaian people through corporate social responsibilities, right from the National level through to the host community. A responsive donation of $100,000.00 was made through Chairman Yang and Togbe Afede XIV, a Director of the company, to the COVID -19 Fund set up by H.E. the President of the Republic of Ghana. Separate donations of a great number of disinfectants, as well as other PPEs, were made to the Ministry of Energy, Ho Regional Hospital, Kpone-Katamanso Municipal Assembly, Kpone Traditional Council, Ghana National Fire Service, the District Electoral Office in Kpone just to mention a few.

MAHLEF Donation

Christmas Love Donation to MAHLEF

Between 13th to 20th December 2021, employees of Sunon Asogli Power organized a love donation activity where they were to donate any amount of cash from their hearts in support for MAHLEF foundation which is located in Tema New Town.

The Month of Love – Cleaning Up the Beach to Build a Better Home

The clean-up exercise demonstrates the company’s commitment to keeping the environment clean and ensuring a cleaner Accra. Over 100 bags of garbage consisting mainly of plastic waste were collected, and approximately 1,800 square meters of beach were cleaned up. Over 100 volunteers participated in the two-hour-long exercise.

Donation of Medical Equipment to Kpone Polyclinic

To mark the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Kpone Polyclinic, Sunon Asogli Power Ghana Limited, donated a Chemical analyzer and a Sysmex Hematology Analyzer worth approximately GHC100,000 to the Polyclinic.
