Yang Qun was appointed Chairman of Sunon Asogli Power (Ghana) Limited in July 2019.

He is also the Director of the West Africa Development Unit. Prior to his appointment, he worked as a deputy General manager for Sunon (Hong Kong) International Company Limited.

He has 20 years experience working in the Energy industry. In 2008, he joined the team to set up Sunon Asogli Power Plant in Ghana.

He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Southeast University of China.
