The Kpone community came alive in the last week of August as indigenes and visitors gathered to celebrate this year’s Homowo Festival. Sunon Asogli Power once again joined hands with the Kpone Traditional Council to mark the occasion, supporting the festivities with cash, soft drinks, water, and schnapps.

For Sunon Asogli Power, supporting the Homowo Festival is more than a gesture of goodwill. It reflects the company’s strong ties with its host community, as well as its role in shaping and strengthening local identity through respect for traditions. Management noted that festivals like Homowo not only preserve culture but also bring people together across generations. The grand durbar was held on 30th August 2025 to mark the end of the celebration.

As part of this year’s celebrations, the youth of Kpone organized a vibrant Bike Fest, which added energy and excitement to the festival. Sunon Asogli Power extended its support to the youth by providing drinks and water to refresh participants and spectators.

The Kpone Traditional Council expressed gratitude to Sunon Asogli Power for its continuous support, emphasizing that the company’s contribution each year helps sustain and enrich the celebration.

Sunon Asogli Power remains committed to nurturing a positive relationship with the people of Kpone, as it recognizes that community and culture are at the heart of lasting partnerships.
