Sunon Asogli Power has teamed up with the Kpone Municipality Ambulance Service to set up a three-day emergency response training for 12 support staff from the Drivers, Fire Brigade, and Security departments. The training was from the 27th August to 29th August 2025.

Mr. Nobel Chen, Chief Engineer, gave a speech to commence the training. In his speech, Mr. Chen emphasized the need for the company to make safety a priority. He said that the training was important for all the support staff present, as they will lead their people in case of any emergencies. He further added that the company expects not only improved knowledge but also the ability and readiness to respond to emergencies effectively and responsibly in anticipation of the ambulance that will be purchased.
The training, led by facilitators from the Ghana Ambulance Service, covers key areas including an introduction to basic first aid, basic life support, patient documentation, medication risk management, ambulance operations, and ambulance/defensive driving.
This initiative is part of the company’s commitment to improving workplace safety and providing employees with the knowledge and skills required to respond effectively to medical emergencies. Sunon Asogli Power hopes to increase emergency readiness, save lives, and maintain a safe and secure operating environment by increasing the capability of its frontline support staff.
