Sunon Asogli Power on 13th January, 2026, held its 2026 Annual Safety Work Conference. The purpose of the conference was to thoroughly implement the Group’s decisions and arrangements on workplace safety, comprehensively review the achievements of safety work in 2025, and strategically plan key safety management tasks for 2026. The meeting conveyed the key messages of the Group’s annual safety work conference and focused on studying relevant Group documents on work safety, further unifying understanding and clarifying direction, and laying a solid foundation for the Company’s safety work in the new year. Company leaders, heads of departments, and relevant management personnel attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the company’s achievements in work safety, environmental protection, occupational health, and fire safety management in 2025. Over the past year, the Company adhered to the principle of “safety first, prevention-oriented, and comprehensive management,” continuously strengthening the foundations of safety management, strictly implementing the responsibility system for work safety, and steadily advancing work safety standardization and risk-based control. Throughout the year, no production safety, fire, traffic, or occupational accidents for which the company bore primary responsibility occurred. Overall, the safety situation remained stable and under control, providing strong support for the safe and stable operation of the overseas power plant.

The meeting further discussed the overall objectives and key tasks for safety work in 2026 and made systematic arrangements for the next stage. Going forward, the Company will firmly establish the concept of “zero accidents and zero fatalities,” further strengthen the implementation of safety responsibilities at all levels, deepen the development of the dual prevention mechanism, and focus on high-risk operations and critical equipment, while carrying out normalized hazard identification and rectification. In addition, the Company will promote the implementation of the NOSA international safety management system and advance the deep integration of ESG principles with safety management, continuously enhancing compliance management and intrinsic safety capabilities of overseas projects.

The meeting also recognised staff who had excelled in work safety for 2025. Company leaders presented awards to recipients of the Safety Advanced Individual Award, Environmental Protection Advanced Individual Award, and Advanced Team Award, highlighting the exemplary and leading role of advanced models while fostering a positive atmosphere that values safety, emphasizes responsibility, and encourages excellence.

During the responsibility implementation session, Chairman Wang Jinxiao and General Manager Zhang Jinsong signed the safety responsibility checklist.  Chairman Wang Jinxiao subsequently signed the 2026 Safety Production Target Responsibility Agreements with the heads of various departments one by one, ensuring that work safety responsibilities are fully implemented at all levels through a checklist-based and contractual approach.

In his concluding remarks, General Manager Zhang Jinsong emphasized the need to adhere to a problem-oriented approach and bottom-line thinking, integrate safety requirements throughout the entire process of production and operations, continuously strengthen management foundations, and enhance execution and on-site control capabilities. Chairman Wang Jinxiao, in his concluding speech, stressed that work safety is the lifeline of the company’s development. All departments should take this conference as an opportunity to further enhance their sense of responsibility and risk awareness, firmly uphold the safety bottom line, and ensure a sustained, stable, and positive safety situation in 2026.

In 2026, Sunon Asogli Power will remain committed to the goal of “zero accidents and zero fatalities,” continue to strengthen the responsibility system, deepen the dual prevention mechanism, and promote the deep integration of NOSA and ESG. With higher standards and more concrete measures, the company will build a solid safety defense line and provide strong safeguards for high-quality and sustainable development.
