Sunon Asogli Power Ghana Limited Company has once again demonstrated its commitment to community development and healthcare support with a renewed donation to Kpone Hospital, fulfilling its pledge to contribute to the hospital’s water supply needs.
During a brief donation ceremony at Kpone Hospital, the General Manager of Sunon Asogli Power, Mr. Zhang Jinsong, accompanied by members of staff, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting the facility. The donation forms part of an annual pledge made in 2025, under which Sunon Asogli Power committed to contributing GHS 30,000 each year towards the payment of the hospital’s water bills.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Zhang Jinsong emphasized that meaningful partnerships are built on consistency and long-term commitment. He noted that access to clean and reliable water is fundamental to effective healthcare delivery, as it supports hygiene, patient safety, and the overall well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.

The donation is expected to ease the financial burden on the hospital, allowing the hospital staff to focus more effectively on delivering quality health care in a safe and comfortable environment.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the hospital, Dr. Jemima Brown, Medical Superintendent of Kpone Hospital, expressed deep appreciation to Sunon Asogli Power for its continued support. She highlighted the significant impact of the annual contribution, noting that it has helped relieve the hospital of the financial burden associated with sourcing water. Dr. Jemima Brown described Sunon Asogli as “the backbone of the hospital” and thanked the company for its unwavering commitment to both the facility and the wider community it serves.
