Promoting Fire Safety: Sunon Asogli Power Supports NADMO Fire Safety Awareness Programme

On the 30th of January 2026, Sunon Asogli Power (Ghana) Limited Company extended support to the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) in the Kpone District. The company supported the week-long fire disaster awareness and education program by donating cartons of soft drinks and 40 packs of bottled water.

The donation was made in response to a request from NADMO as part of efforts to educate communities on fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and effective response to fire-related disasters, especially during the dry season. This initiative seeks to reduce the impact of fire outbreaks by promoting awareness and proactive safety measures, particularly in vulnerable communities.

Speaking during the donation exercise, Mrs. Khadija Lartey, the public relations liaison of Sunon Asogli Power reiterated the company’s commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance public safety and community well-being. She added that the company’s fire brigade is always available to extend help to NADMO and the community, promoting fire awareness and educating residents.

Mr. Abraham Tetteh, the municipal director of NADMO expressed his appreciation for the timely support, emphasizing that such contributions play an important role in the successful execution of public education programs and emergency response activities.
